TRANSATLANTIC TRANSPORTATION: This is the responsibility of the participant. The flight will cost between $900 and $1,350. Departure for Greece should be arranged so that the participant will arrive in Athens by the morning of their starting date.
Participants may extend their stay or travel to other countries on their own after the termination of their trip with Dr. Karris. Such flight arrangements should be made independently with participants’ travel agents.
SESSION I: By arrangement (1-207-570-4490 or KarrisL@msn.com)
SESSION II: By arrangement (Call or email)
ARRANGEMENTS: Participants will be picked up at the airport and escorted to the vessel which has four double capacity bedrooms (staterooms) and two bathrooms (heads) with three showers and all of the amenities for dining both in the dining room and cockpit. While on board, every participant is expected to help with the sailing of the vessel and assist with the relevant tasks of living on board. On shore, most meals will be ordered from the restaurants’ menus. However, lobsters, shrimp, and red mullet are in short supply and extremely expensive in Greece. They may be ordered at the participant’s expense. All other expenses associated with meals, except for alcoholic beverages, and all ground transportation will be borne by the leader of this program. When traveling in inland antiquities, expenses associated with hotel accommodations and meals will again be the responsibility of the leader.
